Posted by Fox Sports on February 26, 2018 08:28:24 The buzz around the upcoming 2018 NFL season will be that a handful of players will be getting haircuts that feature a few new hairstyles.
That’s certainly the case for some players who will be joining the New York Jets, who are set to announce on Thursday they have made the announcement that they will wear cornrows for the start of the 2019 season.
The Jets are the only team in the NFL to have one player sporting a custom hairstyle, according to NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora.
The move is expected to be made at the end of the week.
Other players who are expected to sport cornrows include the New England Patriots’ Malcolm Butler, New York Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr., Pittsburgh Steelers’ Antonio Brown, Denver Broncos’ Emmanuel Sanders, New Orleans Saints’ Kenny Vaccaro, Cleveland Browns’ Cameron Erving, San Francisco 49ers’ Joe Staley and Carolina Panthers’ Charles Johnson.
